KY-SCI has no issue with the changes outlined in KAR 1:152. This is the official change that replaced the emergency regulation change KAR 1:152E signed by the Governor.
This regulation changed the minimum gill and trammel net mesh size to 3 inches from 3.25 inches. This was done to improve the catch rate of juvenile Asian carp that were getting away because of the larger net mesh size. KY-SCI applauds all efforts to rid our waters of this invasive and destructive fish.
